Bolduc, Fasching Assigned on Conditioning

The New York Islanders have assigned forward Hudson Fasching and defenseman Samuel Bolduc to the Bridgeport Islanders on conditioning, the team announced on Friday.

 

Fasching, 28, has not played since Jan. 25th at Montreal. He has eight points (three goals, five assists) in 35 NHL games this season. The hard-nosed winger recorded 49 points (10 goals, nine assists) in 49 NHL games last season after beginning the 2022-23 campaign in the AHL with Bridgeport, collecting 11 points (seven goals, four assists) in 18 contests.

 

Fasching has 76 goals, 83 assists, and 159 points in 298 career AHL games with Bridgeport, Tucson, and Rochester. He will wear #40 on his conditioning stint.

 

Bolduc, 23, last played for the New York Islanders on Jan. 27th. He has three points (one goal, two assists) in 33 NHL games this season. A 2023 AHL All-Star, Bolduc recorded 35 points (10 goals, 25 assists) in 56 games with Bridgeport last season in addition to making his NHL debut with New York.

 

Bolduc, a second-round draft pick (57th overall) in 2019, has 56 points (18 goals, 38 assists) in 137 career AHL games. He will wear #44 on conditioning.
