Michael Marshall scored a power play goal 4:50 into the game to give Westfield (10-3-2) a 1-0 lead.
Christian Adamski and Dylan Borys each had a goal and an assist in a span of 2:36 to give Cranford (8-5-1) a 2-1 lead late in the first period.
