First Star
Jagger Joshua, Michigan State

  • Scored the game-tying goal with 6:49 left in regulation to force overtime in Michigan’s State’s 3-2 victory over Penn State on Jan. 13
  • Responded with a three-goal performance on Jan. 14, completing his hat trick in just under nine minutes to help MSU rally from a 3-1 deficit in a 4-4 overtime tie.
  • Helped the Spartans earn four of a possible six points against the Irish
  • Earns second weekly award of the season and his career ­­– was Third Star on Oct. 25, 2022

  • Registered his fourth shutout (seventh of his career) with a 3-0 win against Notre Dame on Jan. 14
  • Made 38 saves in the shutout, turning away three breakaways by the Irish in the second period to earn No. 1 Star of the Game accolades
  • Leads Big Ten goaltenders with a 1.97 goals-against average and .925 save percentage
  • Receives third weekly honor of the season and the fourth of his career
  • Last Minnesota honoree: Logan Cooley (Third Star) on Jan. 10, 2023

  • Made 36 saves against No. 2/2 Minnesota on Jan. 13, turning away three skaters in a shootout to help the Irish earn the shootout point in a 2-2 overtime tie
  • Named First Star of the Game in the series opener
  • Allowed just two even-strength goals on the weekend, finishing with 57 saves against the Golden Gophers
  • Collects second weekly honor of the season and the third of his career
