Sophie Jaques Named Patty Kazmaier Top 10 Finalist – Ohio State Buckeyes

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Sophie Jaques has been named a Patty Kazmaier Memorial Award Top 10 Finalist. She is the seventh Buckeye in program history to be named a finalist and is the third Top 10 finalist for the Buckeyes in three years.

An award of the USA Hockey Foundation, the Patty Kazmaier Memorial Award was established in 1998 and is presented annually to the top player in NCAA Division I women’s ice hockey. The selection criteria include outstanding individual and team skills, sportsmanship, performance in the clutch, personal character, competitiveness and a love of hockey. Three finalists for the 2022 Patty Kazmaier Memorial Award will be announced on March 17, with the winner being revealed on March 26.
