Morett-Curtiss Keynote Speaker in June’s USAFH Hall of Fame Celebration, Mallory (Weisen) Federoff to Be Honored


UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – The Penn State Nittany Lion field hockey program will be well represented in Philadelphia this June when USA Field Hockey hosts its 100th Anniversary and Hall of Fame Awards Celebration. The event takes place on Saturday, June 18, at 5 p.m. at the historic Union League of Philadelphia.
 
Penn State head coach Char Morett-Curtiss will be one of two former Olympians to serve as keynote speakers at the event. Morett-Curtiss will be joined by Steve Jennings as featured speakers.
 
Joining Morett-Curtiss in Philadelphia will be former Penn State standout Mallory (Weisen) Federoff, who will be honored as the 2021 National Umpire Award winner. Federoff was a four-year letter winner at Penn State from 2004-07 and earned third team All-America and first team All-Region honors as well as being a two-time Academic All-Big Ten honoree.
