San Jose‘s representative last season was Ozzy Wiesblatt. He has since been traded, and the Sharks prospect pool has loaded up.
The event is hosted at the Washington Capitals practice facility. Upper Deck will create unique cards for each player at the event.
Chicago Blackhawk’s first-overall pick in 2023, Connor Bedard, has signed rookie insert trading cards that fans have pulled from packs.
Other NHL top prospects, such as Philadelphia Flyers rookie Matvei Michkov, Anaheim Ducks Cutter Gauthier, and Utah HC’s Josh Doan, will attend the event.
Celebrini’s former teammate at Boston University, Lane Hutson, will be one of two representatives for the Montreal Canadiens.
One of the surprise appearances at the event is New York Rangers enforcer Matt Rempe. Rempe doesn’t have the offensive hype that many of the prospects there have, but he has quickly become a star on Broadway and a fan favorite among Rangers fans.
This event is not open to the public but could produce some great collector’s items and pictures of the Sharks’ future core.
