Offensive Players of the Week for Dec. 21

We will release our picks for Offensive Players of the Week every Thursday throughout the season.

We’ll select two players from each conference who had incredible weeks but coaches are also welcome to send in their recommendations.

On Fridays, we’ll do the same but for defensive players.

Check out the latest edition of Offensive Players of the Week for the period between Dec. 14 and Dec. 20.

BIG NORTH CONFERENCE

Michael Ferrante, Fair Lawn-Bergenfield-Dumont

The Fair Lawn tri-op won two of its three games last week and racked up a total of 28 goals along the way. Ferrante was busy and accounted for six of those goals by himself. He also had 11 total assists for a 17-point week. He punctuated this hot stretch with four goals and two assists against Clifton-Passaic Valley-Cedar Grove.

Aidan Lindgren, West Milford-Pequannock

West Milford-Pequannock is now 5-0 after sweeping games against Mahwah, Ramapo and Wayne last week. Lindgren was terrific across all of the wins. The senior scored a total of six goals and added five assists for 11 points. He recorded his first hat trick of the season in his last game against Wayne.

CVC

Brendan Beatty, Princeton

Princeton got into the win column and ultimately went 1-2 on the week but Beatty was terrific. He led the CVC with 10 points. He scored seven goals and added three assists across the three games. Beatty factored on 10 of his team’s 14 goals.

Trey Guire, Notre Dame

Guire picked up a point on all of Notre Dame’s goals this week. He scored the lone tally in a loss to Pope John and then he added a goal and two assists against Robbinsville-Allentown two days later.

GMC

Aleksey Sergeev, Edison-Metuchen-J.P. Stevens

The tri-op recorded its first win since February 9, 2022 over the past week with a 12-2 victory against Newton-Lenape Valley. Sergeev lit the lamp five times and added two assists. They were the first five goals of his career. He added an assist against Red Bank Regional on Wednesday to cap an eight-point week.

Michael Pellicciotta, Old Bridge

Old Bridge took down the East Brunswick and Ocean Township tri-ops this week to get back to .500 on the season. Pellicciotta had the hot hand with five total goals in the wins and a total of two assists. He had a point on seven of his team’s 15 goals.

GORDON CONFERENCE

Dante Rodriguez, Delbarton

Rodriguez has fit right in as a forward for Delbarton and had a big week. He put up a hat trick and three assists against Gloucester Catholic before burying a big goal against…
