A group of 30 girls is blazing a trail for future generations in Cranford by signing up for their school’s first-ever female ice hockey team.
Girls ice hockey is considered one of the fastest-growing youth sports nationwide, and now it’s coming to Cranford High School.
Freshman Emerson Murphy started the program, having always wanted to play for her hometown.
