St. Louis Blues captain Brayden Schenn is a player to watch incredibly closely at the 2025 NHL trade deadline. On Feb. 6, NHL insider Darren Dreger was the first to report that the Blues are gauging Schenn’s trade market. Trade speculation surrounding the star has continued since, and questions will continue to arise as the deadline approaches.

Schenn, 33, undoubtedly has considerable trade value, so the Blues could receive a major return if they move him. However, trading him also carries plenty of risk, as it would be challenging to replace all that he provides.

Do you think the Blues should trade Schenn if it results in them getting a large return? Or should the veteran center remain a significant part of the Blues’ retool and stay put? Vote in the poll to share your thoughts.
