GOALIE ASSIST 

Goaltender Morgan Stickney recorded an assist on Bella Fanale’s shorthanded goal late in the third period of the U.S.’ victory over Slovakia. It marked the first time in tournament history that a goaltender recorded a point on a goal.  

FASTEST GOAL EVER 

Haley Box’s goal nine seconds into Team USA’s 9-1 quarterfinal victory over Slovakia marked the fasted goal in IIHF tournament history from the start of the game. The previous record was 10 seconds held by Adela Sapovalivova of Czechia during a Jan. 14, 2023, game against Slovakia.
