San Jose, CA – The San Jose Barracuda are excited to announce that Gabriela Sepúlveda is performing during the first Tigres Del Mar Night on Saturday, November 30. Sepúlveda is an award-winning Regional Mexican recording artist and actress of Mexican-Chilean descent. She’s most known for her role on the Netflix show “Mariposa De Barrio,” where she starred as Jenicka López, youngest daughter of Jenni Rivera.
Specializing in Regional Mexican music, Sepúlveda started her career at 8 years old, participating in national and international television programs such as Sábado Gigante, La Voz Kids, and American Idol. She has collaborated with renowned artists including Luis Coronel, Banda Los Sebastianes, Abraham Mateo, and many more.
Proudly representing her latin roots, Sepúlveda is frequently invited to perform the U.S. National Anthem for sports teams, like the San Francisco 49ers, the Golden State Warriors, the San Jose Sharks, and the San Francisco Giants.
In 2020, her video singing Selena Quintanilla’s popular song “Bidi Bidi Bom Bom” in South Korea went viral on her YouTube channel reaching over 3 million views. Singing in both Spanish and English, she became the first person to sing Miley Cyrus’ hit song “The Climb” in Spanish, obtaining the rights from the Walt Disney Company in 2012.
