Wild Recall Top Prospect From Iowa

The Hockey News - Minnesota Wild

ST. PAUL – The Minnesota Wild announced Friday that they have recalled forward Liam Ohgren from the Iowa Wild of the American Hockey League (AHL).

With the injuries of forwards Mats Zuccarello and Joel Eriksson Ek, the Wild have recalled Ohgren from the AHL.

In four games, Ohgren has recorded four goals and four points for Iowa. He played in seven NHL games this year with the Wild and has zero points.

The Wild’s 19th overall pick from the 2022 NHL draft will provide the club with a top-six caliber player to fill Eriksson Ek’s spot.

Eriksson Ek wasn’t ruled out for Saturday’s game but if he doesn’t play, Ohgren will get in.
