Penn State Field Hockey Announces 2024 Recruiting Class – Penn State

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – The Penn State field hockey team, under the direction of head coach Lisa Bervinchak Love, has announced its 2024 recruiting class. Love’s second incoming class includes nine top talents from the country (as of Nov. 15, 2024).

The class includes athletes from four different states. It features state champions and athletes still competing for state titles as well. The list of athletes is as follows:

 

Autumn Albright (midfield)

Loysville, PA | West Perry HS

Currently competing in the PIAA State Tournament (will compete in the state final on 11/16)

Mid-Penn Colonial First-Team All-Division

 

Maren Brady (midfield)

Ann Arbor, MI | Pioneer HS

MHSFHA State Champions 

 

Mia Clarkson (GK)

Virginia Beach, VA | Norfolk Academy

VISAA State Champions 

VISAA All State First-Team

 

Cooper Cutchins (back)

Hadley Hoffsmith (midfield)

Made it to District & State Semifinals

Mid-Conference Keystone Division Player of the Year

Currently competing in the NJSIAA regional tournament (competing in the regional final 11/13)

Scored her 100th goal this season

Penn State is coming off Bervinchak Love’s second campaign as head coach. Penn State has made 53 NCAA tournament appearances all-time, among the top five nationally. The Nittany Lions are also top five all-time in NCAA tournament games played (66) and top ten in NCAA tournament wins (28). Penn State’s eight NCAA semifinal appearances is also among the top 10 in history.
