Former Ottawa Senator Mark Stone Helps Promote NHL’s New Partnership With lululemon

The Hockey News - Ottawa Senators

It’s hard to believe, but when Vegas Golden Knights captain Mark Stone faces his old team on Friday night, there will only be three old teammates he might feel the need to catch up with.

Stone was traded to Vegas at the deadline in 2018-19, and the only Ottawa Senators still here from that season are Brady Tkachuk, Thomas Chabot, and Drake Batherson. He’s especially close with Tkachuk, who was not only his roommate, but they were also in each other’s wedding parties.

Beyond that, Stone turned the page on his Senator days a long time ago. He’s been gone for five years, he’s making $9 million a season and now has a Stanley Cup on his resume.

Accomplishments in pro sports do tend to result in endorsements, and this week, Stone and his wife, Hayley, were part of the rollout of the NHL’s new partnership with lululemon.

The clothing company teamed up with Fanatics in a deal that will see lululemon design and develop a new line of premium NHL fan apparel. The products will be available for purchase beginning October 29th.

The Senators aren’t part of the initial release this season, but things will expand to all 32-teams for the 2025-26 season.

Products will also initially be available for:

Boston Bruins
Chicago Blackhawks
Detroit Red Wings
Edmonton Oilers
Florida Panthers
Montreal Canadiens
New York Rangers
Seattle Kraken
Toronto Maple Leafs
Vancouver Canucks

“We’re big hockey fans here at lululemon, and we know our guests are too,” says Celeste Burgoyne, President, Americas and Global Guest Innovation for lululemon. “We’re thrilled to partner with Fanatics and the NHL to grow our presence in professional sports and introduce our high-quality performance and loungewear apparel to NHL fans around the League who share our love for the game.”
