Nashville Predators Recall Marc Del Gaizo

The Hockey News

The Nashville Predators recalled defenseman Marc Del Gaizo, the team announced Saturday.

Del Gaizo started this season with the Milwaukee Admirals where he has gone pointless in two games. Del Gaizo got into the Predators lineup on Saturday, making his season debut after getting into nine games with the team last year.

Drafted by the Predators in the fourth round of the 2019 NHL Draft, Del Gaizo has collected three assists in 10 career NHL games. Having turned pro at the end of the 2020-21 season, Del Gaizo has scored 17 goals and added 72 assists for 89 points in 209 AHL regular season games.

As the Predators get set for their game against the Boston Bruins on Tuesday, they will be looking for their first win of the season. Although Del Gaizo does not have a lot of NHL experience under his belt, he is a solid puck moving defender and should help the team if he draws into the lineup.
