Florida Panthers star forward Matthew Tkachuk will be getting some extra face time this season.
On Monday, Amazon and the NHL announced their collaborative coverage plans for the upcoming hockey season, which will include Prime Monday Night Hockey and NHL Coast to Coast.
Amazon is also producing a docuseries called Faceoff: Inside the NHL, which promises to “give unprecedented access to some of the NHL’s most compelling players,” according to Amazon and the NHL.

One of those players will be Tkachuk.
Last season, as Florida pushed for the playoffs and went on their epic Stanley Cup run, the Amazon camera crews were there, following the team, and Tkachuk, around.
The show debuts on Oct. 4 and the first trailer was dropped on Monday.
THN Florida was fortunate to see a special preview of the first episode, and while we can’t reveal any spoilers, the behind-the-scenes access combined with the storylines explored are going to have hockey fans very happy with what they’re seeing.
Along with Tkachuk, NHL players featured on the show are Connor McDavid, William Nylander, Filip Forsberg, Jack Eichel, Quinn Hughes, Gabriel Landeskog, Jacob Trouba, Zach Hyman, Jeremy Swayman and David Pastrnak.
Episode three, titled Learning to Win, will feature Tkahcuk and Pastrnak.
Episodes five and six are both dedicated to the Stanley Cup Final and the quest to win it all. The penultimate episode will feature Draisaitl, Hyman and McDavid while the finale will focus on Tkachuk and McDavid.
The full episode breakdown will be as follows:
EPISODE 1: Best of Rivals featuring William Nylander and David Pastrnak
EPISODE 2: As Tough As It Gets featuring Jack Eichel and Filip Forsberg
EPISODE 3: Learning to Win featuring Jeremy Swayman and Matthew Tkachuk
EPISODE 4: The Captains featuring Quinn Hughes, Gabriel Landeskog and Jacob Trouba
EPISODE 5: Cup or Bust Part I featuring Leon Draisaitl, Connor McDavid and Zach Hyman
