2. Tyler Toffoli Has A Letter, But What Will His Offensive Impact Be?
During Sharks Media Day, pictures of the marquee free agent signing Tyler Toffoli sporting an ‘A’ on his jersey surfaced.
The 32-year-old looks primed to start the year with No. 1 pick Mackin Celebrini as his center. San Jose has brought in veterans like Toffoli to help mold the top pick into a superstar.
While Toffoli will be needed to lead the team, he will also be relied upon to score goals. How many goals will he put up in his first season in Teal?

4. Will Yaroslav Askarov Force The Sharks Hand And Make The Opening Night Roster?

That being said, the Sharks have Mackenzie Blackwood and Vitek Vanecek on NHL deals. Askarov is still not waiver-eligible, allowing the Sharks to move him to and from the AHL as needed.
Blackwood will likely be the opening night starter, but if Askarov really impresses at training camp, the Sharks might be forced to carry three goalies.
