Former Tucson Roadrunners defenseman Victor Soderstrom has signed a two-year deal in Sweden with Brynas IF, it was announced Sunday.

A 2019 first round pick of the Arizona Coyotes, Soderstrom spent time this season with both the Roadrunners and Coyotes. In three regular season games with Arizona, he was held pointless. With Tucson, he scored nine goals and added 23 assists for 32 points in 62 games.
Having come to North America during the 2020-21 season, Soderstrom appeared in a total of 53 NHL regular season games during his time with the Coyotes, putting up 11 points.
With Soderstrom signing in Sweden for the next two seasons, it will be interesting to see if he attempts to make an NHL comeback once his contract expires.
