Ranking the 10 Best Kings of All Time, at #7 Jonathan Quick

The Hockey News - Los Angeles Kings

Jonathan Quick makes the list at #7. The first and only goalie to be on the 10 greatest Los Angeles Kings list.

Quick was not only one of the best goalies in the NHL during his days with the Kings; he was also one of the most impactful players on the team.

Quick will go down as the best Kings‘ goalie of all time, and just the second goalie in the franchise’s history to have his jersey retired.

Looking back to his most memorable days with the organization, Quick won a lot of accolades. He has won the Jennings Trophies twice and the Conn Smythe trophy in 2012 after a historic playoff run.

In 20 games, he had a .946 save percentage and 1.41 goals against average and led the Kings to the Stanley Cup.

Quick and the Kings followed the Stanley Cup win in 2012 with another one in 2014, solidifying Quick’s legacy as the best goalie to ever play in the history of the organization.
