Queensbury's Tanner Fearman earns state's top honor

Queensbury senior Tanner Fearman was named the state Division II Boys Hockey Player of the Year following the state tournament this past weekend.

Fearman finished the season with 75 points on 26 goals and 49 assists, leading Section II in scoring and setting a Queensbury team record in both single-season points and assists.

Fearman, who said he is undecided about his college plans, finished his three-year varsity career with 53 goals and 98 assists for 151 total points.

Queensbury junior defenseman Jack Dickerson was named to the all-state Division II first team. Spartans junior forward Ollie Coughlan was named to the Division II all-state honorable mention list.
