Stark Named to ECAC Hockey All-Rookie Team

CLIFTON PARK, N.Y. – First year Jack Stark of the Yale men’s hockey team has been named to the ECAC Hockey All-Rookie Team, as announced by the league on Monday, March 11. 

In his first collegiate season for Yale, Stark put up a 6-7-2 record in conference play for the Bulldogs. In 15 league contests, Stark made 400 saves with a career best of 35 against Quinnipiac (January 26). The first year goaltender recorded two shutouts against St. Lawrence (November 17) and Dartmouth (January 12). Stark wrapped up his rookie campaign with a .927 save percentage and a 1.93 goals-against average. 

Stark finished the season No. 11 in NCAA Division I in goals against average and save percentage.

The Chaska, Minn. native becomes the first Bulldog to be named with All-Rookie honors since Joe Snively in 2015-16 and the first all-league honors since Curtis Hall in 2019-20.
