Cornell women’s ice hockey will face the Colgate Raiders, the highest remaining seed in the ECAC tournament, in this Friday afternoon’s early semifinal game at the Class of 1965 Arena in Hamilton. Tickets are on sale now for Friday’s semifinals and Saturday’s final.
The Big Red advanced on this weekend’s sweep in a best-of-three quarterfinal series against the Quinnipiac Bobcats at Lynah Rink, with a thrilling 3-2 overtime win on Friday afternoon followed by a 5-0 shutout win on Saturday.

Freshman netminder Annelies Bergmann, who was named the Ivy League Rookie of the Year last week, posted her fourth shutout of the season on Saturday afternoon for a 19-5-1 record. The Red bring their 24-6-1 record to the ECAC championship tournament.
This weekend’s semifinals will pit first-seed Colgate (29-6-1, 20-4-0 in ECAC play) against the Big Red at 2pm, and #2 seed Clarkson against #3 seed St. Lawrence in a 6pm game. Colgate bested Cornell in both previous meetings this season, winning 6-3 at Lynah Rink and shutting out the Red 3-0 in Hamilton.
All-session tickets for Friday’s semifinals and tickets for Saturday’s final are available at $10 each day for adults and $5 for seniors, children, and students, at colgateathletics.com. The game will also be broadcast on ESPN+.
