The Lindenwood men’s ice hockey team is preparing to host the Seawolves of Alaska Anchorage. Entering the games this weekend, the Lions look to bounce back from a 4-2 loss at Stonehill on Saturday evening. On Friday night, Lindenwood defeated the Skyhawks 10-1.
The last time the Seawolves and Lions faced each other was March 10-11, 2023. In the contest on the 10th, the contest ended 7-7, while on the 11th, Alaska Anchorage was able to edge Lindenwood 4-3 in overtime.
Kyle Jeffers, Caige Sterzer and Jake Southgate are the current statistical leaders for the Lions. Jeffers has accumulated 15-points (8 goals, 7 assists), Sterzer, 14-points (7 goals, 7 assists), and Southgate has 13 (6 goals, 7 assists).
David Gagnon and Kobore Dunn each tallied ten points. Gagnon has six goals and four assists; while, Dunn has ten assists for the season,
The two teams will face off at 7:10 pm and 6:00 pm on Friday and Saturday, respectively.
