Luke Zabriskie’s hat trick helped propel Vernon over Parsippany Regional 5-1 at Skylands Ice World in Stockholm.
Vernon (2-5) took a 1-0 lead in the first period before pushing it to a four-goal game in the second. Jake Chromcik also recorded one goal and two assists while Christopher Gay had three assists. Brady Hendricks made 28 saves on 29 shots.
Kaden Bland scored for Parsippany Hills (2-6) off an assist from Robert Hemenway.
