HAMDEN, Conn. – Graduate student goaltender Logan Angers has been named to the Women’s Hockey Goalie of the Year Award watchlist as announced by the Women’s Hockey Commissioners Association on Jan. 12.
The Winnipeg, Manitoba native is one of 28 goaltenders named to the watchlist and one of seven ECAC goalies. She currently is tied for fourth nationally in shutouts with four as well as tenth nationally in save percentage (.941) and goals against average (1.59). Angers has also made the fifth most total saves in the country (560).
Angers and the Bobcats are back in action tonight, facing Harvard in Cambridge, Mass. at 6:00 PM.
