Alex Kozic Named NESCAC Men’s Hockey Player of the Week

BRUNSWICK, Maine – Bowdoin College men’s ice hockey goaltender Alex Kozic (Burnham Norton, United Kingdom) has been named the New England Small College Athletic Conference Player of the Week.
 
Kozic led the Polar Bears to their first undefeated trip to Amherst and Hamilton since 2016 with a pair of outstanding performances in net. The senior made a season-high 46 saves in a 4-2 win at Amherst on Friday night before posting 35 saves in a 2-0 shutout of Hamilton on Saturday. For the weekend, Kozic recorded 81 saves with a .975 save percentage and 1.00 goals against average.
 
The Polar Bears (8-2-1) will return to action on Tuesday evening at home against Salve Regina at 7:00 p.m.
