NOTRE DAME, Ind. – The final regular season home series for the University of Notre Dame hockey program gets underway Feb. 10-11 when they host Ohio State for a pair of tilts. The team will recognize dedicated its fans as part of Fan Appreciation night when the puck drops Friday at 7:30 p.m. Following Saturday night’s 6 p.m. contest, the Irish will honor the 10 senior and graduate members of the team in a post-game ceremony on ice. Fans are encouraged to stay in the stands following the final horn as the senior class takes one final lap inside Compton Family Ice Arena.

- Notre Dame is coming off a weekend sweep at Michigan State. The Irish were unable to break former ND netminder Dylan St. Cyr in the Spartan net Friday night in the 3-0 loss before dropping a 3-2 battle Saturday evening in East Lansing.

- Prior to that, Notre Dame split the season series at Penn State, picking up a night one victory, 2-1, which saw senior netminder Ryan Bischel post a career-high 52 saves. The team then fell Saturday, 3-2 to finish 2-2 against the Nittany Lions this season.
- In two games in State College, Pa., Bischel registered 94 saves in goal for a .958 save percentage over the two-game stretch.
- With 928 total saves this season, Bischel currently ranks first nationally in the category while his .927 save percentage is fifth-best.
