COLUMBUS, Ohio – The No. 17 Ohio State men’s hockey team lost a Big Ten game at No. 6/5 Penn State, 2-1, Friday evening in University Park, Pa. Penn State led 1-0 after the first and the Buckeyes tied the game on a Cole McWard goal in the second. The Nittany Lions notched the gamewinner with less than six minutes remaining in regulation.
The Buckeyes (9-7-1, 4-5-0-0-0-0 B1G) and Nittany Lions (14-3-0, 6-3-0-0-1-0 B1G) will wrap up the series at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, with the game streamed through Big Ten Plus and on Ohio State Radio.
