The voting period for the AAU Sullivan Award opens Oct. 27 and will close at 11:59 ET on Wednesday, Nov. 9. Voting is open to the public and people can vote once per day, through the deadline. The winner of the award will be announced during a ceremony on Thursday, Dec. 8.

Jaques played a key part in leading the Buckeyes to their first national championship in the 2021-22 season. On the other side of the ice, Jaques helped the Buckeyes hold their opponents to jus 1.53 goals per game. She finished the year with a nation-leading plus-51 and was on the ice for 94 of Ohio State’s program record 175 goals. She also tallied a team-high 44 blocked shots.

As a result of her on-ice success, Jaques earned AHCA First Team All-American distinction. The WCHA Final Faceoff MVP and Frozen Four All-Tournament Team member was also named the WCHA’s Defensive Player of the Year for the 2021-22 season.

This season for the Buckeyes, Jaques is tied for the most points on the team (12) and already leads the team with three power play goals. She’s recorded a plus-7 on ice this year.
