The Calgary Flames are about to sign another one of their newcomers to a massive extension. Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet reports that the Flames and MacKenzie Weegar are closing in on an eight-year extension worth around $50MM. Weegar is scheduled for unrestricted free agency after the upcoming season.
