The Pittsburgh Penguins have signed goaltender Dustin Tokarski to a one-year contract.

A two-time Calder Cup champion, Tokarski spent the 2021-22 season in the NHL with the Buffalo Sabres, going 10-12-5 with a 3.27 goals-against average, an .899 save percentage and one shutout.

Tokarski has made 363 regular-season appearances in the AHL with Norfolk, Syracuse, Hamilton, St. John’s, San Diego, Lehigh Valley, Hartford, Charlotte, Wilkes-Barre/Scranton and Rochester, posting a record of 193-121-30 with a 2.50 GAA, a .912 save percentage and 27 shutouts. He played in the AHL All-Star Classic in 2014.

In 30 postseason appearances, Tokarski is 20-7 (1.85, .932) with four shutouts, winning championships with Norfolk in 2012 and Charlotte in 2019.

A fifth-round choice by Tampa Bay in the 2008 NHL Draft, Tokarski has played 76 NHL games with the Lightning, Montreal, Anaheim and Buffalo, and has a record 22-32-12 with a 3.14 GAA and a .902 save percentage with two shutouts.
