Rock legend Rod Stewart was spotted in Coventry over the weekend. He is understood to have headed to the city to cheer his son on at an ice hockey match at the SkyDome Arena. His son Liam plays for MK Lightning who were in the city on Saturday and Sunday (April 29/30).
Locals also spotted the crooner in Earlsdon near The Royal Oak. And this is not the first time Rod Stewart has been seen in Coventry.
Liam Stewart previously played for ice hockey team Coventry Blaze between 2016 and 2017. He made 57 appearances for Blaze during his stint and contributed 11 goals and 11 assists throughout the campaign.

Liam then moved to Skycity Stampede in New Zealand before returning to the UK after being signed by MK Lightning. His father Rod regularly attends matches with ex-wife Rachel Hunter.
