ROCKPORT — Maine Coast Storm youth ice hockey teams look to sweeten their seasons as they enter the Maine Amateur Hockey Association (MEAHA) state tournaments — two of which will be played at an area rink.
Storm 14U tier III team heads to its state tournament Friday through Sunday, Feb. 25-27, and will have home ice advantage as it hosts at the Midcoast Recreation Center. Storm will host Maine Gladiators Silver, Central Maine Hornets, Brewer, Biddeford and Maine Moose. Storm enters the tournament as the fourth seed with a 4-8 record. Storm 14U team includes Quinn Hoppin, Barlow Marshall, Jace Young, Harper Lilly, Flynn Lilly, Alden Howard, Bowden Trzaska, Kylian Babik and Bryson Hise. The squad is coached by Andrew Marshall, Fred Lilly, Bo Hoppin and Mylan Babik.
