Ice Hockey Olympic Updates: Mann, Brisson Lead USA Over Canada in Pool Play

BEIJING, China — MGoBlue.com will track the progress of four University of Michigan ice hockey sophomores and two former Wolverines — all first-time Olympians — at the 2022 Winter Olympics, with the men’s ice hockey competition running Feb. 10-20. U-M sophomores Matty Beniers and Brendan Brisson are joined by Steven Kampfer (2007-10) and Strauss Mann (2019-21) on Team USA, while Canada’s roster includes sophomores Kent Johnson and Owen Power. Prior to this year, 16 Wolverines have competed in hockey at the Winter Olympics.
