UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – The Penn State women’s hockey team is back at home for a four-game homestand, beginning with a crucial CHA series against Mercyhurst this Friday and Saturday, Jan. 28-29, at Pegula Ice Arena.
Saturday will be Penn State’s annual Skate for a Cure game to bring awareness to the battle against breast and support those who have been affected by it.

PARKING NOTICE
With Friday’s contest happening on a weekday afternoon, all parking will be in the Stadium West parking lot.
All Penn State Athletics non-football events will require a valid permit or payment of the applicable parking fee for campus lots.
Fans with valid Penn State University Park parking permits will be permitted to park at non-football athletics events for free, following Transportation Services parking policies and access.
Fans without a permit are encouraged to prepay for event parking at a discounted rate through ParkMobile – https://psu.parkmobile.io/. Prepayment is available through 11:59 p.m. the day prior to each event. Season packages will be available for general parking for most sports, and information on VIP parking options available for select events will be released later.

TOP CHA SQUADS GOING AT IT
The Nittany Lions face off with the CHA-leading Lakers in a two-game set that is a crucial matchup for both teams, as they sit very close to each other at the top of the CHA standings along with Syracuse.
With the cancelation of Penn State’s series at Lindenwood Jan. 21-22, the league has moved to a percentage-based standings model based off points earned in conference games throughout the season. Mercyhurst has earned 75.0 percent of its earnable points in CHA games this season to lead the league (6-2), while Penn State is close behind at 68.8-percent (5-2-1).
