BU, Ohio State Extend Streaks; CC Wins Again at Miami

Cornell became the first ECAC team in at least 40 years to sweep a series at North Dakota, and handed the Fighting Hawks their first sweep at home to anyone since 2018, with a 3-1 win Saturday. That followed Friday’s 4-3 come-from-behind win.
Ian Shane, a freshman making his first career starts, got the wins, including a 32-save effort Saturday. Cornell had been struggling finding consistency in net so far this season, before Shane played well in a relief effort last weekend amid two losses at Arizona State. The freshman from Manhattan Beach, Calif., may have earned the No. 1 nod going forward.
