The American Hockey League family is mourning the loss of long-time colleague Drew Griffin, who passed away on Friday, July 18, after a brief illness.
A native of Agawam, Mass., Griffin joined the league office in 1993 and served as the AHL’s director of finance and administration with loyalty and distinction for more than 30 years until his retirement in January 2024.
