Two Former Head Coaches Land New Assistant Spots : College Hockey News

A pair of former D-I head coaches have landed new assistant coach openings.

Rick Bennett, who led Union to a national championship in 2014, is now an assistant coach at Maine. Bennett, who resigned in the aftermath of an investigation at Union, spent last season as an assistant at Quinnipiac.

Also, Matt Curley, who was head coach at Alaska-Anchorage for two seasons before going to the USHL, is back in the NCAA as an assistant coach at Alaska-Fairbanks. Curley replaces Chris Brown, who left to become an assistant coach at Cornell.
