With just about every other honor already under his belt, Jack Parker can add one more.

The former Boston University coach, who won three national championships and is No. 2 on the all-time wins list, has been selected to the Hockey Hall of Fame.

He is joined by Duncan Keith, who played one year at Michigan State and eventually won multiple Stanley Cups as a stellar defenseman for the Chicago Blackhawks. Also in the class are former women’s NCAA players Brianna Decker (Wisconsin) and Jennifer Botterill (Harvard).

Parker will enter in the builders category, along with former women’s coach Daniele Sauvageau. Other NHL players getting selected were Zdeno Chara, Alexander Mogilny and Joe Thornton.

Parker joins long-time nemesis Jerry York, who is No. 1 on the college hockey wins list, in the Hall of Fame.

Parker took over at his alma mater in 1973, and proceeded to coach the Terriers for 40 years. From 1990 to 1997, BU made seven of eight Frozen Fours, winning the 1995 national championship. Parker’s BU teams also won the national title in 1978 and 2009. The Terriers made the national semifinals the first five years of Parker’s career, culminating in the ’78 championship.

Despite being wooed several times for NHL positions, Parker stayed at BU his entire coaching career, before retiring in 2013. He finished with a career record of 897-472-115.
