WCHA announces 2025-26 conference schedule


MADISON,  Wis. – The eight-time NCAA champion Wisconsin women’s hockey team, in conjunction with the Western Collegiate Hockey Association, announced its 2025-26 conference schedule on Wednesday.

The Badgers open up their season and league slate with a series at Bemidji State on Sept. 26-27. 

UW’s home opener will come two weeks later during the weekend of Oct. 10-12 against Minnesota Duluth. 

UW will wrap up October with a pair of home series, hosting Minnesota State the weekend of Oct. 24-26 and Minnesota the weekend of Oct. 31-Nov. 2.  

Wisconsin will play SCSU on the road the weekend of Nov. 14-15 before hosting St. Thomas the weekend of Nov. 21-23. 

UW’s lone series in December will be at Ohio State the weekend of Dec. 5-6. 

UW opens 2026 with a pair of road series at Minnesota Duluth (Jan. 9-10) and St. Thomas (Jan. 16-17) before hosting Bemidji State the weekend of Jan. 23-25. 

The Badgers face Border Battle rival Minnesota the final weekend of January (Jan. 30-31) before hosting Ohio State the weekend of Feb. 6-8. 

Wisconsin’s final league road series will be Feb. 13-14 at Minnesota State while UW hosts St. Cloud State the weekend of Feb. 20-22 to wrap up the regular season. 

The Badgers’ complete WCHA slate is listed below. The schedule is subject to change.
