The 42-16-4 Winnipeg Jets will hit the ice in Philadelphia on Thursday night for a test against the 27-27-8 Flyers at 6:00 PM central.
Eric Comrie will start in goal for a team that has lost three-straight. Somehow still managing to remain first in the league standings, Winnipeg will look to get back on track against a familiar team.
Having faced Philadelphia five days earlier (and lost) the Jets will be looking for some retribution in their third of four-straight games on the road and final tune-up before the NHL’s Friday trade deadline.
Rasmus Kupari was hurt in Tuesday’s game and did not skate with his teammates on Thursday. Head coach Scott Arniel indicated that the injury had to do with his head and that Kupari was in concussion protocol. Because of that, David Gustafsson will draw in in his place on the fourth line alongside Alex Iafallo and the recently returned Morgan Barron.
Winnipeg Jets expected line combinations for Thursday, March 6 at Philadelphia:
Connor-Scheifele-Vilardi
Ehlers-Namestnikov-Perfetti
Niederreiter-Lowry-Appleton
Barron-Gustafsson-Iafallo
Morrissey-DeMelo
Samberg-Pionk
Stanley-Miller
Comrie
Injured: Kupari
Healthy Scratches: Anderson-Dolan, Heinola
