The Boston Bruins are back on the ice to face off against the Anaheim Ducks on Feb. 22. This is their first game since the 4 Nations Face-Off break, so they will look to pick up a much-needed victory.
After representing Team USA at the 4 Nations Face-Off, Jeremy Swayman will be back between the pipes for the Bruins against the Ducks.
Swayman, 26, did not appear in a game for Team USA during the tournament, as he was third on the depth chart behind Winnipeg Jets goaltender Connor Hellebuyck and Dallas Stars goalie Jake Oettinger. Now, he will look to secure the Bruins a win against the Ducks from here.
Swayman has appeared in 40 games this season with the Bruins, where he has an 18-18-4 record, a 2.98 goals-against average, and a .898 save percentage. In his last appearance on Feb. 8 against the Vegas Golden Knights, he allowed four goals on 38 shots in a loss.
