There will be no NHL All-Star game this season, instead, the league is holding a week-long round robin tournament consisting of four teams of players from the United States, Canada, Sweden and Finland dubbed the 4 Nations Face-Off. Despite the fact that half the players in the international tournament hail from Scandinavia, the 4 Nations Face-Off will be held entirely in North America, with games split between the Bell Centre in Montreal from Feb. 12-15 and the TD Garden in Boston from Feb. 16-20.
