With Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen getting the start Wednesday in Pittsburgh, look for Levi to get the nod in Columbus. He’s been excellent so far this season with a .919 SP in two games and certainly has a chance to wrestle the No. 1 job away from Luukkonen. He’s already fended off James Reimer, who was signed in the summer as insurance but waived and claimed by the Ducks following the Global Series in Czechia. Another strong start should really make the Sabres reconsider their goalie rotation going forward.

The Jackets are coming off an emotional home opener honoring the Gaudreau brothers and expected to start backup Daniil Tarasov, who allowed four goals on 30 shots in his season debut. Levi definitely has the edge here.

The Sharks will be without top prospect Macklin Celebrini, taking a huge bite out of their offense.

The Blackhawks’ 1-2-1 record doesn’t really show it, but they’re an improved team from last season, having beaten the Oilers, 5-2, and losing to the Flames and Jets on the road by a two-goal margin in total. This will be Soderblom’s first career start against the Sharks.

It looks like the Kraken will rotate…
