The Nashville Predators have reduced their training camp roster to 25 players after assigning forwards Zachary L’Heureux and Ozzy Wiesblatt and defenseman Adam Wilsby to Milwaukee (AHL).
Nashville’s roster now consists of 13 forwards, 10 defensemen and two goaltenders. The Predators will need to reduce their active roster to a maximum of 23 players before next week’s season opener against the Dallas Stars. An updated roster can be found here.
Some notable names who remain on the Predators roster following the latest round of cuts include defenseman Spencer Stastney, who is absent from training camp for personal reasons, and 2023 first-round pick Tanner Molendyk, who does not meet the minimum age requirement to play in the AHL and must therefore make the Predators’ NHL roster or return to the WHL’s Saskatoon Blades for his final season of junior hockey.
