Golden Knights Host The Kings For Their Second Preseason Game

The Vegas Golden Knights will be hosting the Los Angeles Kings in their second preseason game.

The Golden Knights will be icing an intriguing lineup with a blend of NHL players, top prospects and players competing for the final available roster spots. Golden Knights fans will be able to see Alexander Holtz and Ilya Samsonov make their Golden Knights debut and HC Bruce Cassidy said the plan is to let Samsonov play the full 60 minutes.

Brendan Brisson, Kaedan Korczak and Tanner Pearson will all get into their second preseason game as Brisson and Pearson compete to make the team and Korczak continues his fight to get into the Golden Knights defence group.

The Kings will be playing an experienced roster tonight that has Tanner Jeannot, Trevor Moore, Alex Laferriere, Alex Turcotte, Kevin Fiala, Phillip Danault, Warren Foegele, Tyler Madden, Andre Lee, Quinton Byfield, Glenn Gawdin and Aatu Jamsen up front.

On defence, they’ll play Kyle Burroughs, Drew Doughty, Jordan Spence, Mikey Anderson, Jared Woolley and Vladislav Gavrikov. Darcy Kuemper and George Carter will be the two goaltenders.

Cassidy will be looking for strong performances from Brisson, Korczak and Pearson to give him reasons to play them more. Zach Whitecloud will need to be at his best with Korczak knocking on the door. He’ll also be hoping for Holtz, Tomas Hertl and Nicolas Roy to find chemistry and produce some offence.

Puck drop is tonight at 7:00 P.M PST at T-Mobile Arena.
