NEWARK, N.J. — On Wednesday evening, NHL Network released their list of this year’s top 20 centers in the NHL, and two New Jersey Devils forwards made the cut.

Devils captain Nico Hischier kicked the list off at the 20th spot. The 25-year-old is coming off a campaign where he earned 67 points in 71 games. It was the second-highest point total of his career.
The Swiss center was listed as 14th best in last year’s list.
Jack Hughes cracked the top 10 despite missing time with injuries, landing in the ninth spot. The 2019 first-overall pick finished 2023-24 with 74 points in 62 games. His 27 goals were the second-most he earned in a single season in his career.
The middle Hughes brother was the sixth best on last year’s list.
