Sean Driscoll is 34. Like lots of kids in the North Country, he grew up on the ice.
Driscoll started playing hockey when he was four. He’d always known he wanted to work in sports. Right before college, he got a job at the hockey arena in Glens Falls, taking out trash and sweeping during weekend games.

When you go to a hockey game, you’re probably trying to find good seats or looking around for a pretzel stand. It’s not quite the same for Driscoll, even when he’s not technically working.
He says that “being on the business side, I see what goes into creating the game.” So even if he’s just catching a game with friends, “I am still looking out the corner of my eye and seeing what’s going on within the game to kind of replicate it for us.”
Driscoll says his work schedule is kind of like a teacher’s. The arena staff work like…
