The annual Downriver-area high school hockey summer league wrapped up the first of its five weeks of competition on Thursday with two more games played at the Southgate Civic Center.
The matchups on Thursday consisted of Riverview-Cabrini United and Allen Park playing to a 3-3 tie, while Brownstown Woodhaven picked up a wild 11-4 victory over a New Boston United team that was minus a goaltender for stages of the game due to injury.
Thursday was the second of two games this week for all four teams and two of 10 scheduled over the next handful of weeks this summer.
