DENVER — University of Denver hockey has announced its 2024-25 regular-season schedule in which the program will celebrate its 75th anniversary and raise its NCAA-record 10th national championship banner in Magness Arena.

CONFERENCE: 24 Games (H: Arizona State, Colorado College, Miami, Omaha, North Dakota, St. Cloud State | A: North Dakota, Western Michigan, Colorado College, Minnesota Duluth, Arizona State, Miami)
Denver opens the campaign on October 5-6 with a second-consecutive season-opening trip to Alaska, this time to take on Alaska Anchorage. The two programs last met in the early stages of the 2013-14 season in a neutral-site encounter in Fairbanks. Denver last traveled to Anchorage in the 2011-12 season as a conference foe in the WCHA era.
Following a bye week, Denver welcomes Northeastern to Magness Arena for Homecoming Weekend. DU will raise its 10th national championship banner into the arena rafters on Saturday, October 19.
A second old WCHA foe in the opening month of the season will see Wisconsin visit Magness Arena for the first time since the 2016-17 campaign. The two-game set will be played over the October 25-26 weekend.
Denver will take its first of two trips to the East Coast in its non-conference schedule when the Pioneers return a visit to Yale on November 1-2. Prior to Denver sweeping Yale last November, the Pioneers and Bulldogs had not met since 2012. DU will then return home to celebrate the program’s 75th anniversary against Lindenwood on November 8-9.
The Pioneers open NCHC play with a trip to Grand Forks to take on North Dakota on November 15-16 and then host Arizona State in the first NCHC contests between the two programs November 22-23. The Pioneers and Sun Devils will meet as conference foes for the first time in November after 12 previous…
